Kiwanis Club of Cornwall donates $15,000
Kiwanis Club of Cornwall has donated a $15,000 cheque to the Cornwall Hospital Foundation. This donation completes their $35,000 pledge commitment to the "Our Hospital Our Future" Capital Campaign. The Kiwanis Club of Cornwall was chartered July 5, 1927 and is celebrating 80 years of service to the Children of Cornwall. Cornwall Community Hospital is a 170-bed acute care hospital operating on two sites in the city of Cornwall, located in Eastern Ontario along the St. Lawrence River. With a staff of over 1000 employees, Cornwall Community Hospital serves acute, in-patient, out-patient and community based clients. The hospital provides a wide range of medical specialties. Cornwall Community Hospital was incorporated in 2004 with the amalgamation of the Cornwall General Hospital and the acute care services of the Hotel Dieu Hospital, both with over 100 years of health care service to Cornwall and surrounding area. In 2006, the Canadian Council of Health Services Accreditation accredited Cornwall Community Hospital.
