Supply Chain Management And Its Cornwall Employees Donate $62,983
SCM Supply Chain Management, General Manager Alan La Barge presented a cheque for $62,983 to Cornwall Community Hospital Executive Director Connie Vardy at their Employee Annual General Meeting on February 11, 2009. This cheque represents the third installment of a 5 year commitment which will see local healthcare benefit from their Corporate and local donation of $250,000.
This donation is a good example of how head office and local employees can make a difference together. SCM Canada donates a maximum of $25,000 each year to match employee payroll contributions to the Hospital Foundation. This year SCM staff exceeded even their own expectations as employee donations totaled $37,983. The Staff at SCM, Cornwall are committed to friends, families and neighbours as every hour they work they give something back. They have erected a sign at their front door that reminds them everyday of their commitment. It says Our Community Our Hospital Our Responsibility. Thank you SCM!
