10 Year Old Makes Charity Birthday Donation

One is never too young to learn about philanthropy. Looking like a little angel posing in front of a redevelopment project sketch at the Cornwall Community Hospital, 10 year old Samantha Pilgrim proudly displays a Certificate of Appreciation awarded to her by CCH Foundation Executive Connie Vardy. Samantha recently participated in a new trend called “Charity Birthday Donations”. At her recent birthday party at the Cornwall Aquatic Centre, guests were asked to provide donations in lieu of gifts. On April 1st, Samantha donated $100 to the CCH Foundation. What an inspiring act of giving! Thank you Samantha and Happy, Happy Birthday!
