Auxiliary to the Cornwall Community Hospital Celebrates 60th Anniversary

On June 17, 2009 the Ramada Inn and Conference Centre on Brookdale Avenue was the gathering place where some of the area’s finest citizens, Hospital Auxiliary members, celebrated 60 years of volunteerism for the Cornwall Community Hospital.
Wendy Shepherdson, President Executive Officer of the Auxiliary spoke eloquently and with pride as she commended her colleagues for their dedication over the years. A special edition booklet highlighted changes to the hospital and Board of Directors over more than half a decade.
$40,000 in specialized bariatric equipment was purchased with funds raised through (H-E-L-L-P-P) ticket sales. Members happily crowded around for a celebratory photo to mark the occasion.
