While one might suspect that Reverend Fritz Clarke - Cornwall Community Hospital’s new Spiritual Care Coordinator might have lofty connections, no one could have known that his earthly connection to Dr. Bruce Firestone, Founder of the modern-day Ottawa Senators would benefit Cornwall’s 2009 Dreams Do Come True Wine & Cheese and Silent Auction held Saturday, November 21st at NAV CANADA.

As an Ottawa resident, Reverend Clarke met Dr. Firestone several years ago and learned that he and his son Matthew are long time philanthropists. When Reverend Clarke told Dr. Firestone of the work being done by the Dreams Do Come True Committee to raise funds for operating equipment for the Cornwall Community Hospital, Dr. Firestone generously donated an auction item of 12 tickets and parking passes to an Ottawa Senators versus Colorado Avalanche game on December 30th, 2009.
